Join ECPAT-USA's Carol Smolenski, filmmaker Danielle Rose, survivor advocates, Indhira Castro of the Mayor's Office to Combat Domestic Violence, and faith leaders in the fight to end trafficking for a special screening of "In Our Backyard." The film takes an investigative look into the widely unknown and unspoken world of sex trafficking in Brooklyn, documenting the emotional stories of three recent survivors while also presenting the work of determined nonprofit organizations (including ECPAT-USA), law enforcement agencies, and politicians.
Come to the screening, take part in the conversation, and be a part of the solution to end sex trafficking in our backyards. This event is FREE and open to the public.
This event is made possible by One Spirit Learning Alliance, The Episcopal Diocese of New York Task Force Against Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence, Connect, and ECPAT-USA.
