Join ECPAT-USA's Carol Smolenski, filmmaker Danielle Rose, survivor-advocate Iryna, and other leaders in the fight to end trafficking for a special screening of "In Our Backyard." The film takes an investigative look into the widely unknown and unspoken world of sex trafficking in Brooklyn, documenting the emotional stories of three recent survivors while also presenting the work of determined nonprofit organizations (including ECPAT-USA), law enforcement agencies, and politicians.
This special event aims to educate and effect real change for trafficking survivors in New York City. There will be a discussion before the screening, and a reception to follow which will provide the opportunity to meet and speak with dedicated professionals who work to end trafficking in NYC.
Come to the screening, take part in the conversation, and be a part of the solution to end sex trafficking in our backyards. This event is FREE and open to the public.
